some have suggested Black Stars House, Presidential Palace, Osono house… etc.

Hi Kojo,
I was listening to your show on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 online and I was very disappointed with Akwesi interview with NDC and NPP personnel and I think Akwesi was abit bias and was not fair to the current Government. Anyway, Akwesi kept emphasize on 30 million dollars for the presidential palace, what is wrong with building a house for our presidents. When you travel to any country in the World one can pinpoint the president residency and it is about time that we build a palace for our presidents. Until we obey the law by not overloading vehicles and stuff, we will always have a problem with infrastructural. We Ghanaians need to be honest with ourselves and learn how to pay our taxes. Ghana is for all of us so we need to do our part and Government cannot do it all.

why would a govt that claims to think of it’s citizenery spend such an amount on a project when basics such as water,food, electricity etc is hard to come by.God help Mother Ghana. Amen

when we talk of develoment this government has done marvelously and believe that is choice for all those who want Ghana to develop the next 8years to come.

Kojo pls i want 2 know , if the palace is to be called the Golden jubilee house because of the country’s 50th ann. then how wuold it be called when the country turns 100 (ooh Ghana we need to wake up from our slumber). God bless our homeland Ghana.
I THINK THE NEW PESIDENTIAL PALACE SHOULD HAVE KEPT IT’s OLD NAME FLAGSTAFF HOUSE AFTER ALL WE STILL HAVE ALL THE OLD BUILDINGS FOR THE FIRST PRESIDENT STILL THERE,AND THAT’s THE NAME WELL KNOWN TO EVERYONE, AS SOON AS YOU MENTION IT EVERYBODY KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE REFERING TO.MAYBE A HALL OR A BIG GARDEN IN THERE COULD HAVE BEEN CALLED THE GOLDEN HALL OR GARDEN.I THINK IT WILL BE GOOD IDEA TO ASK THE PUBLIC WHAT THEY THINK WHEN IT COMES TO THINGS LIKE THIS,SINCE YOU REFER TO YOUSELVES AS THE LISTENING GOVERNMENT.
