What happened to the all inclusive government?

January 27, 2009

The new administration earlier characterised as an all inclusive government seems to have changed its course down the line.

Former government officials- IGP and chief of defence staff have been asked by the president to proceed on leave after their service under the Kuffuor administration. Some DCEs and MCEs have although been held on till further notice.

But does the new administration have any intentions of maintaining former government officials or will they all proceed on leave?

What do you think? What happened to the all inclusive government?

kojo i can bet that the idea of all inclusiveness was rally talk? lets get real, its not going to happen. its already happenin with the percentage of women appointees where they said 40% in the manifesto and now its 30%.
lets be frank with each other, they can’t work with people on the other political divide because it might cost them in the next election due to the fact that they did the same to the Kufuor govt by putting their people in place on the pretence of working for the common good of the nation but in reality they were gaining favor their party.
i think all inclusiveness for the Mills’ administration means former members of ex-president Rawlings admin plus the wanna bees in the Mills camp
    we are watching!!!!

This wont work now for sure, but i have a dream that one day the best brains in the country will be given appointments as Ministers of State, MCEs, DCEs and the appointments wont matter the party colour you wear. That day is not far and i can see it coming. God bless our home land Ghana

The NDC has no intention on being inclusive because, the government is a vindictive one and, they need to go on a witch hunt to satisfy their base! The base of the NDC is mainly 70s thugs and, their offspring ! It can be concluded that the NDC managed to bamboozle a lot of people in the middle with a false message of change! In a third world country there will always be problems thus, it is very easy to run a propaganda campaign! They are now under pressure to deliver and, since they don’t have the talent within the party to deliver the change they promised they are left with no other option but, to be hateful, vindictive, devilish, and, generally evil!

This is a one term government because, the dirty way in which they won the election is not sustainable! Unless Atta Mills can meet all of his promises, which he can’t, he is headed for a humiliating defeat in 2012! NPP members are ready to watch the NDC now and match them boot for boot!

In 2012 the NDC will not have the propaganda advantage because, the NPP will not have ruled for 4 years! The NDC will be forced to run on their miserable record and, that spells disaster for them…

I also share the idea that “the all inclusive gov’t “was a political talk and not a reality. If it could be done the better for the NDC cos they can use it against their opponents in the coming elections. After all we’re all working for the good of Ghana.

Prez Mills preached about all inclusive gov”t because he was not having enough people to fill certain positions but I think as time goes by,he will lay off all political officials who were appointed under the Kuffuor administration

Inclusive goverment! well the got to be joking. We practise Democratic commuism where one party after winning elections takes over power as if it is a one party state we are practising. We do not understand democracy.

Even though I new the all inclusive government was a political talk,I was hoping prez Mills could do it for the sake of the media. It clear we’ve been taking for granted by our politicians. Most importantly.the people who did not support prez Mills during the NDC flag bearer contest are not giving position let alone people from other parties. 4 years is coming again.
