Hi Kojo,
Please bring back the sound bites of the arguments put up by government spokespersons and their friends in the Media about the Gulf Stream and the need to dispose it off.
These will enable Ghanaian see the hypocrisy and double standards of the Govt.

Food for thought for our so called Leader: We cannot rule only by the law but also by moral and ethics
NEW YORK - Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigned in disgrace Wednesday after getting caught in a call-girl scandal that shattered his corruption-fighting, straight-arrow image, saying: “I cannot allow my private failings to disrupt the people’s work.”
Spitzer made the announcement without having finalized a plea deal with federal prosecutors, though a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation said he is believed to still be negotiating one. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the case.
“Over the course of my public life, I’ve insisted, I think correctly, that people regardless of their position or power take responsibility for their conduct. I can and will ask no less of myself,” Spitzer said at a Manhattan news conference with his wife, Silda, at his side. He left without answering questions.

Kojo Goodmorning,
I completed the University of Ghana in 2007, and during the second semester of the 2006/2007, academic year, we were made to persue a free elective course at the Legon Centre for International Affairs. The course is titled Area Politics with the code INTER 616.
We studied the foreign Policy of the EU, the Italian foreign policy and language. Kojo we spent 10 hours every week for this course alone and wrote exams on it as well. 3hrs was spent for the language on Tuesdays, 3hrs for the foreign policies on Fridays and 2hrs each for the language and foreign policy on Saturdays.
Kojo as we prepare for graduation this Saturday, the result has not reflectd on our academic record let alone being added to our FGPA
Authorities at L. E.C.I.A. claim that permission was sought from the academic board of the University before we were made to pursue this as undergrads.
Kojo, I want you to get in touch with authorities at L.E.C.I.A especially Prof. Kofi Kumado and then the acting director of academic affairs of Legon to explain what the problem is because it’s disheartening. We number about 70 students.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Kojo, the buying of a new presidential jet is not the wisest thing to do by the government especially at this time when the opposition NDC accuses government of chasing misplaced priorities. I believe the government should make serious attempts at improving the living conditions of Ghanaians. (Kafui, Gimpa)

Hi Kojo,
Good morning. I want comment about this Bawku issue. I know u might think i am being too critical or something and so might decide not to read this mail. But lets think about this as a nation. What about sending only northern professionals to the northern regions so that when they fight it is amongst themselves. For example only doctors who are northerners or nurse or policemen and it should apply to both civil and public servants. Because of u look at this captain abbey who was shot at and escaped death by the skin of his teeth and all the other military personnel and even the regional police commander. If these people die wat will their families do. Thank u for reading this and putting it up for a debate or educate us on that if it can be done.
I heard ur commercial by Kofi Owusu on this easter programme for kids and did i heard him say ‘needless kids’. well i dont know how that can be so.

Kojo,
It is worrying for some of us living outside Ghana to hear people who are not officials of the EC’s office trying hard to explain how the EC work in relation to the electorial register.
I honestly think, the EC or his representative are the right persons to make interventions or explanations concerning how they work in terms of compiling an electorial register and not anybody else.
We should get serious and accept that there is a problem with the Electorial register, as I understand most Political Parties have come to recognise and work at cleaning it. Ghana is our only home and indeed the HOPE OF AFRICA. I think the situation has past the stage of arguing. We should rather look at working and resoursing relevant bodies to solve the problem.

Hi Kojo,
I realise the campaign team of Nana Addo is considered solid, however, to what extent were all those guys competent when they were in positions?
Although I will not want to mention names, I believe he has to be careful because he has very questionable characters with him.
On the campaign for the Flagbearer positions, we heard them and it is very likely that should Nana win, he will bring those guys back to recoup what they lost in the campaign.
Ghanaians must watch these with EAGLE EYES.

Yes we need to get away from the poverty mentality, but it is wiser to do the essentials instead of pursuing eye pleasing programs. For goodness sake he should stop this attititude of deliberately confusing the essence of Bui which will give all of us electricity power with that of Peduase and The Flagstaff Presidential lodge which will ensure the super comfort of an invividual.

Adisadel College is an Anglican school for boys in Cape Coast, Ghana, modelled on the English Public School. The school’s Founder was the Right Reverend Dr Nathaniel Temple Hamlyn of the Anglican Church. His purpose was to provide a grammar school for sons of Anglican parents, in particular a training ground for Church personnel.
I think parents who enrol their wards should be aware of this fact. It is a christian school and so lond as students are not compelled to convert to christianity i personally don’t believe there’s a problem.

I don’t really understand why the management of Pwalugu Tomato Factory expect farmers to sell the raw materials to them when they can get better prices elsewhere. Kojo i was not going to comment on the issue of whether Christian values are being imposed on people of other beliefs or not but the thought of it is bugging me and i know until i air my views it is not going to stop.
You know the saying that when you go to Rome you do what the Romans do? This sets my arguement into motion.
First of all if you choose to go to a missionary school, you are consequentially consenting to observe whatever practices that are unique to that school. Bear in mind these schools were set up not only to provide formal education but also to promote the customs and practices perculiar to their faith. This is so whether with a Christian Missionary School or a Muslim School.
It doesnt have to be the school authorities forcing any practices on you but you being responsible enough to observe them. These practices have been complied with over the many years and there has always been regulatory bodies seeing to the activities of these institutions. Kojo, if there was a need to allow different faiths to hold their own small meetings on the same small compound it would have been done long before today.
Kojo obeying simple rules and regulations is important. Can you imagine if it was said that certain gatherings were meant only for the believers of a particular faith? There would be breakdown of discipline especially at that stage in our lives which is considered the formative years. Students as they are will always kick against rules but does not mean we should let it be. Human beings in general need to be whipped into line so that law and order may be maintained. If Christian gatherings were made the exclusive reserves of Christians, I bet people of other faith belonghing to these scholls would feel maligned. How would we treat that issue too.
As soon as you step foot in Saudi Arabia, or any strict Muslim Country, Kojo, you dare not go about your business in the same way you are used. You observe the norms of the land. This is accepted and is nice. Why do we not talk against it but think that the same thing done elsewhere by another set of people is wrong?
Do you also realise that, it was not only the Muslim fellow who skipped the gathering? What would we be discussing if it were a Christian who jumped and died. See?
Honestly, I am beginning to lose confidence in this Akuffo Lawyer. He very quickly jumps to back anybody or anything that has emotional sentiments to it without first exhausting all other reasoning.
At the end of the day, Law and Order must be maintained and a people belonging to a group must be seen as a group.
I sympathise greatly with the family of the deceased and I am also in no way backing the teacher. Punishments metted out to students in schools can be discussed at a latter date.
Thank You.

Two quick points on the “Executive Jets” for the GAF:
1. So far nothing illegal or fishy has been done during the process. In fact the process is more transparent than NDC Gulf Stream purchase.
2. When it comes to provision of water and other social and developmental benefits for Ghanaians, Kuffour’s NPP has spent more money in 8 years than the (P)NDC did in 20 years. In fact as I write, perennial water problems in Cape Coast and other places are a thing of the past.

Hi Kojo,
I have been listening to your station for a while and what strike me most is the fact that many Ghanaians have blatantly ignore to analyze issues with their heads to find the wisdom behind a governments action rather, they prefer to talk from their stomachs because of their political affiliation. This is a dent on our very capacity to hold our own government accountable.
The government should resolve the perennial water shortage in Accra with the same sense of urgency used in approving a loan for the purchase of a presidential jet.
It is fitting for the seat of government to have its own private jet but it is also fitting and civil to make this transaction open and fair and devoid of any suspicion and kick backs. The minority have the right to question the transaction. Why rush to approve the loan?

Surprisingly, the Joy News team that you can always count on, appeared to have missed this news. I don’t know what really went wrong though, well it is not too late.

Please the GPRTU should sit up by providing the commercial drivers with fixed and consistent the transport fares when the prices of fuel go up. I think the Bank of Ghana should also help by m\king the 1pesewa coins available on the market. The unavailablity of the 1pesewa coins make transactions with the commercial bus drivers difficult. Eg the fare for madina to tema was 70 pesewas when the prices went up some weeks ago it went to 75 pesewas then now it is 80. With my liitle knowledge in business i think the increase should be marginally spread for each passenger but these drivers are now cheating us. Please do something about it. Cheers

Hello Kojo,
I have been listening to the ‘SUPERMORNING show’ this morning and find your call for the public ‘asking for more’ as very appropriate.Look, is it not interesting how African politicians campaign in the name of solving the people’s problems only to forget about them as soon as they get their mandate? The greed of these politicians keep plunging us into social upheavals all the time!Examples are not hard to find.
Voters should learn to CHANGE governments when they renege on their promises, period! I think that until we learn to change governments, the people will always be taken for granted.Let’s keep changing governments until we get the best. It’s even a way of strengthening our democracy, where no political party will not see itself as divinely ordained to be in government forever.
I don’t care which party is in government:but care very much about the BASICS/ESSENTIALs of life (water, electricity, proper sanitation, housing, food etc). That’s all teh people need, not rhetorics.
These politicians are virtually saying the same thing but differently!
Please, we need Joy Fm to exact the right responses, and conscientize the masses to always DEMAND what is due them……..IT’S OUR TAX MONEY they are presiding over.

Does one need a higher education to establish the fact that our politicians care less about the masses? Certainly not, limit your scope to some suburbs in the capital city of Accra like Ablekuma, Anyaah, Awoshie, sakaman, Abeka lapaz, mamprobi, gbawe and few others who’s basic problems are just drainage systems not to mention roads to solve their years of environmental catastrophes’ but simply undone reason NO MONEY. The problem of Water still persists in the capital city. Not even the drainage systems that were started after the recent floods in Accra as government intervention were completed. its almost a year now and the rains are here again, we will soon begin swimming into our homes like we always do with the hope that one day Ghana will raise that money needed to fulfill its social responsibilities, and with the unsatisfactory efforts at education, we the illiterates shall continue to be the majority who shall always be there to listen to the sweet tales of our politicians in big grammar we even find difficult to understand just to lure us of our votes. Yet they always find the loans/ grants to finance all projects to guarantee their comfort in authority.

Young guys holding matchets would just butcher u after taking ur phone from u. they would beat u mercilessly without anybody coming to ur aid.
I am appealing to u to appeal to the Police Service to mount a check point at Mango-down and the bridge leading to Kit Kat area. We hear these boys are from Sukura and Zamrama Line. pls assist us, we are not safe in our own houses. I remember calling a patrol team when a neighbour was being attacked and all I got was “contact the nearest police station.
Kojo, I am begging u, this is about the third time that am sending u this mail, pls come to our aid and God would richly bless u. There is no police station at Banana-Inn, Sukura, Soko, Russia and Zamrama Line, that is why armed robbery is on the increase there. Pls call the powers that be to at least mount a checkpoint till about 12.00 midnight or beyond.
We all tax payers, so the govt shd come to our aid too.

Kwadwo, are all politicians liars?. i have been watching and listening to them and it seems to me that none of them i.e. those in power and the opposition tells the public the truth.
Is politics for liars? Can’t we get one person who will stand for the truth.
Atta Mills, Akufo Addo, Paa Kwesi Nduom and Edward Mahama they are all liars.
Is politics all about what can go into one’s pocket?
hi Kojo,

Kojo,
i want you to discuss the issue of the communications tax. We have been told that the Communication companies will file returns with the VAT service and pay the tax there of. Kojo, we were in this country when areeba captilsed foreign purcahse to reduce the tax burden thereby stealing millions of cedis from the ghanaian governement. Now this same comapanies are going to allowed to collect taxes fromm us and hand them over to the VAT service?. kojo how equiped is the VAT to verify the actaul talk time of these comapanies. If youre interested, VAT itself has personnel with the mobile comapanies monitoring thier Call card issues just to collect the right amount of VAT. We have human being manning systems instead of getting systems to mann systems.
We should be careful that we dont pass a law to make the mobile comapnies richer. The way things are as at now we are going to make them rich unless we find a technology that will be able to identify the network usage of this comapnies.
Thank you kojo and i hope you will discuss this issue. As an ACCA student i guess you know how returns are easily manipulated. lets get technology to check the network usage rather than asking the mobile comapnies to file returns.
Thanx kojo

I’ll be very happy if you could ask the ministry of agriculture what it intends to do about the rise in food prices worldwide.
Countries all over the world have been feeling the impact of this increase. Some have demonstrated, rioted and has even caused the death of a UN peace keeper in Haiti. luckily it has not caused any disturbance in our country
The government has time and again failed to strengthen local industry mostly under the pressure from WTO. Now that prices have gone up, all countries are increasing prices of export tariffs, a measure taken to feed their local market. i think this is the best time to start the debate about strengthening the local industry and saving the foreign exchange for other needs and also most importantly insulating our food market from external factors .

Those you spoke with this morning said that when commodity prices go up inflation goes up too. thats fine.what if prices of commodities come down what happens to the inflation which had gone up earlier.i think it should come down. now in the year 2000 petrol cost about 6200 old ghan cedis and inflation was arround 43%, in 2008 petrol cost about 52000 old ghana cedis per gallon and inflation is arround 18%. i need your help tounderstand this things bcos i think with a rise in petrol price inflation should rather go up than come down. unless this economist are free to choose what commodities to deal with as the please. am listening i need your help good morning

Hi Kojo, the issue of garbage in Accra is directly connected to the the incedence of Malaria, Cholera, Hepatitis, Typhoid and air pollution. The situation is worsened by the inability of the Government via the City Authorities to manage the sanitation situation in Accra.
Our major drainage systems are choked to the brim with plastic waste which blocks the water ways indefinitely. How can we have a better environment if our gutters are choked, stink and very conducive for the breeding of all the agents of life-threatening diseases?
What our government lacks is the long-term developmental programme that should benefit the common Ghanaian!
Its amazing how government officials enjoy all the good life, have access to the best medical care, live in the prime residential areas in Accra but ignore the very basic needs of those who voted them in power.
It never ceases to amaze me!

Hi Kojo, it still beats my mind why we need to worry good people like Ben Ephson about the chances of the variuos flag bearers’ winning the December polls. To me, it’s quite obvious and very easy to tell.First of all, when we talk of real politicians, which of the two leading parties will we find them ? Is it the one which came to power unconstutionally and started calling people with no political background to be Ministers or the group that sat in opposition and planned and strategised to come to power through the polls ? Secondly, Kojo, which is the biggest selling newspaper in Ghana, and why is it the biggest ? ( its by way of higher demand, right ?), the daily graphic hardly critices the government, therefore which sorts of people will patronise this newspaper, obviously, the NPP.Thirdly, the second biggest selling newspaper is also the daily guide and again, the philosophy of the graphic and the daily guide is similar and yet still its highly patronised. Therefore, its obvious that there are more NPP supporters in the system than any other party.Npp will therefore will the elections, its as simple as that
Thank you

Hi Kojo,
It is scary what is going on in the world concerning food prices in relation to our country. I wonder what the minister for agric is talking about that there is no cause for alarm in Ghana. Ghana is not producing enough food in the country. Currently, our staple food is rice and you will be surprised that it is eaten in almost every part of the country.
Recent trips I have made round the country really opened my eyes to the crises. I was in Dormaa Ahenkro a couple of months ago and there was virtually no food in the market. This area is noted to be a plantian producing area but there was none in the market.
Last saturday, i.e. 13th April, I went to Suhum Kraboa Coalter in the Eastern Region and this area was noted for the cultivation of cassava and maize. I did not see these crops being cultivated in the quantities they used to be but rather pawpaw has now taken over.
If we continue putting emphasis to produce crops to meet the needs of the ‘rich’, we will end up hungry. What they have produced is now being used for biofuel and please, we should not complain about this. They produced their food with their sweat and toil and they have the right to use it the way they want. If we want to feed ourselves, we should produce it ourselves. Let us learn from Malawi which have been producing lots of maize even for export becuase of the emphasis they placed on agriculture. The president is also the minister for agriculture and they reimposed the subsidies the world Bank and IMF said we should remove from the agric sector.
God save our home land Ghana.

Kojo, I will like to comment on the street lights that were hurriedly installed but have never been lighted. When this project started, which was supposed to have been part of the Ghana@50, it was done slowly. It took over 6 months before the ones on the spintex road were completed and even now, many of them dont work. Some also work during the day. Who checks the contractor? or is this one of those Ghana@50 shams?
Tema had some lights installed and within 2 weeks, they had been completed and working. This was done by a CHinese firm and they are so well arranged compared with the one on the spintex road which are haphazardly place - done by Al agfa or something.
When arethey going to complete the street light project on the spintex road, 1 year after the project begun? Contractors do shoddy work and there seems to be no one to complain.
Another issue is the Aburi road. It is nice but the cliff adjoining the road i.e. from Ayimensah to Peduase, have been left bare. This is a recipe for disaster - landslide. The contractor is supposed to cover the cliff and loose stones with wire mesh, pinned into the cliff wall so that they dont fall. we should not wait for a landslide to occur before something is done about it. Also the rate at which land are being cleared on these slopes are alarming, which is also seen on the Larteh road. This situation make landslide easy to occur whenever it rains. The civil engineers at our road ministry should check this. Thank you and have a good day.

I listened to Hackman Owusu Agyeman react to Allan’s resignation on JoyFm this morning and its sad he made reference to ” the so called Allan’s supporters”. Well, Hackman himself contested the NPP presidential primaries and Allan proved to be the most popular man in the party and those who did the voting at NPP congress were not any ordinary people but NPP leaders from the whole of Ghana and the diaspora. Kojo, am in Tema community. We are into the hospitality industry. Almost every day our lights goes off, there are times one phase will go off leaving the other. Each time the lights goes off and we call in the ECG’s we have to give them money not less then 20.00 Ghana Cedis or else they wouldn’t show up the next time and this problems could occur three times in a day.
I inquire about the frequent causes of the problem and was told one of the fuse is spoilt and they have adjusted it with a wire and this burns up when it heats thus causing one phase of our power to go off. The only solution that was given us was for us to buy the fuse to replace the burnt one. What i want to know is,is it our duty to fix the problem whiles we are struggling to be in business with all this high tariffs especially electricity. What happens to all the monies the ECG collects from us as bills can’t they purchase a common fuse?
In this day and age that every body is building a better economy through indigenous business why is ours the opposite, why should the government allow the utility companies continue to treat us this way, by crippling us into putting us out of business by providing us poor services.
i wonder if the say” now is the best time to be a Ghanaian” actually true?
and so much for golden age of business.
When are we going to have a decentralized system so that our concerns with be dealt with promptly?
long live Ghana and may the wind of positive change blow
hi kojo,
when exactly are we going to experience the benefits of our countries oil. i believe it is time the people of this country begin to ask questions and demand answers.
about the ECG, i think we do not have to pay for their incompentencies by getting our gadgets destroyed. power outages are not well communicated and we keep on paying bills for efficiency.

Today, I want to contribute to the flood taking over the capital city. First of all it is very important for every Ghanaian to help protect the infrastructure provided by our leaders for a good sustainability.
This bring me to the facts about the annual flood. Kojo, why should we have annual flooding of our capital city? Why is it that for so many years (50) now we are not able to have good drainage system that could carry the rain away? I can assure you that the people we put at the helm of affairs are just square pegs in round holes.
For some time now the flooding has been terrorizing good number of Ghanaians’ life and businesses. How long should it take the various leaders to come to terms that proper drainage system together with good solid and liquid waste management will help resolve the situation? What if we have covered drainage system, can people drop litter in them? They will sing the same song, “lack of funds”. But we had $35million to buy 200 luxury cars for 50 years anniversary only to auction them to cronies at a horribly low prices. Over $100 million facility loan to buy luxury plane for the president’s comfort.
You see, if you do not have anybody in government in Ghana, you can die like a frog and nobody cares. Inn the UK and the USA a single loss of life is a grave concern to the government, who will go all the way to find the course and try to prevent re-occurrence.
As i write my contribution I believe some lives are being loss as a result of the floods, school buildings will collapse, businesses will loose thousand and millions of cedis, people are going to starve today and some people will even loose their jobs for not being able make it to work and the government don’t care a hoot about all that. So when we make our submissions on the flooding let us be a bit circumspect and do proper analysis of the situation before we shout on radio that governments are not to blame. I don’t think it is a blame game but rather a justifiable call on leader to do the very work they promise to do and on which premise we voted for them. We did not vote for them to become very rich overnight.
Thank you.

Hai Kojo,
I have sent you e-mails on many numbers of occation,
you never read it, or never got it.
No one has the right to throw things around any where in Ghana
Ghana must be kept clean at all time, and the gutters free fron all
rubbish. You have made that´clear, what you have not informed
people about is where is the place prepared by whon is concern
to throw those gabbashes. When I am in Ghana I stay at Madina

by who ever is concern (AMA, Kofour or somebody).

When the various parties talk of their energy policies and plans it makes me laugh. The plans and policies are already there. What we need is implementation.
That has been the problem of ghanaians for years.Get the engineers
technicians and experts now and start work.Am tired of all the talk.
I am very suprised at mr Tsatsu ,after staying at GMPC for so many years without any mark but court cases hanging on his neck,he has the gut to sit there not ashamed to talk about energy issues.NDC should find someone to do that for them, this deducts marks from them.

I am a banker. I trade in foreign exchange for my employer. In order for my trades to remain profitable, I study the dynamics of the global financial markets and then decide how to and for how long I can place my bet on a currency.
About a year ago, my studies clearly showed that America was headed for an economic meltdown. The dollar was headed for a gargantuan fall and in its wake foreign currencies and commodities would witness a remarkable surge in prices. Commodities had another factor going for it, the roaring appetite of China and India’s people for food. I placed my bets accordingly.
I am a Ghanaian. I have lived and worked in Ghana all my life. Everyday I hear politicians talk about Ghana’s development. I never hear about how Ghana can think globally and act locally. I never hear about what one or two things we can do to make this country and its people rich. Very rich to the extent that we can wipe out poverty in a decade or less. Maybe now may be the time.
As the reality of the condition of America’s economy began to emerge, I thought that Ghana was going to be rich. There was a looming food crisis around the globe and Ghana was going to be selling grains to the world. What an assumption.
Here we are and no one knows or interprets what is going on around the world. At best we talk about it. A few calls from listeners and the matter is history.
Is there no one in the government, in the castle, at the Ministry or at the central bank that saw this coming? Or that has seen this and is doing something? Right next to us in Cote d’ Ivoire, there have been riots and demonstrations because of food shortages.
As one travels from Accra to any of the regions, you can’t help but notice that land is in such a fertile abandon.
As one travels through the streets of Accra, you can’t help but notice that unemployment remains our greatest challenge.
As one listens to world news and reads economic reports you can’t help but notice that countries that can produce cereals and grains would reap huge rewards for a long time to come.
Herein lies our path to riches Ghana. Herein lies the path that takes a nation from poor to prospering.
Ghana; Think Globally and act locally.
Gather your young men and women. Let them farm your arable and fertile lands.
Gather some more young men and women. Let them process the grains into semi finished goods and export them.
Historically, Commodity booms can last for anything between 15 to 25 years. It is about time we acted.
It takes three months for maize to bloom. A few more for soybeans. These two commodities have witnessed more than 100% price surges this year alone whilst costs of production have remained virtually flat. It is about time we acted.
God bless my homeland Ghana.

Tell Ghanaian to leave Ato Dadzie alone, after all Ato is a free citizen of the Republic of Ghana so Ato has every wright to speak and to blame when things go wrong. Hi Kojo, kindly allow me to air my disgust at the the authorities of Suhum Sec. tech.( SUTESCO) for exploiting parents.Every academic year consists of three terms and students are made to pay each term’s fee in advance.Kojo do you know what? Parents of these students have paid their wards’ school fees for the three terms even though they will not spend even a day during the third term. After taking all these monies, parents have also been asked to pay an amonut of GH 45 cedis for vacation classes in preparation towards their WASSCE, of which these unsuspecting parents have complied. What I do not know is whether these parents were called for a meeting before those monies were imposed on them. But from the students, it seemed no meeting was convened for that purpose. So Kojo I want you to do a thorough investigation on this matter. I know you will do it. To start with i will say poor AFRICANS, because someone imports a religion in the name of civilisation although the real import was 400years of slavery, followed by colonisation and finally neocolonisation as we have now a yet we don’t not see the sense in asking very pertrinent questions about our religion imposed on us by the white man. Before i go on i think the Archbishop may have erred a bit because no matter the insight he has in theology the fact is you lead a congregation and a peolple as a whole based on the book called the Bible and as such tou must follow it no matter your new found understanding, but i believe a man of his stature will not make any hasty nor not well thought decisions.
Fellow Ghanaians especially those of us in the Christian domination, before i continue i am a christian, i believe in God Almighty and i believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God, the truth Our Bible they was written by
MAN upon the inspiration of God,the question therein is are we 100% sure or have the proof that all were inspirations from God or if i should speculate some things were added to the Bible based on the culture of the geographical location of the writer. Our we 100% sure that the people who sat at the council of Nicea(i stand to be corrected on the venue) to decide who book should be admitted into the bible and which should be treated as hearsay were truly inspired or they might have had their on ulterior motives,How possible is it that not all of Jesus’s Desciples who wrote books were not featured in the Bible even THE APOSTLES APOSTLE MARY MAGDALENE WAS NOT FEATURED YET THE EARLY CHURCH ONLY REFERRED TO HER AS THE PROSTITUTE WHO WAS FILLED WITH DEMONS. We live in a country where even what people wear is seen as improper dressing and so labeled as un African and UN Ghanaian but we forget that before the Europeans came we had our culture and it was not improper to be barely naked and no body complain now the european comes and we have a new culture of cover your self(akatasia) am not promoting nudity nor indescency but the fact is we a people a lost, will any body tell me dipo was indecency, the European who came to clothe us today does not make such noise about certain attires because indecency is a matter of perception of the people concerned at any given time, The European who brought Christianity only talks about the effect of divorce on the family not that it is evil in the eyes of God and they know why becuase they were part of the editorial board of the Bible at some point in time,The European who brought as the Bible and Christianity does not believe much in the Bible as we do here , a comparison of sunday and other weekly church events will confirm that, and its because they who edited and brought as the bible have moved on to a level where customs of OLD WHICH ARE NOT ABREAST AND IN VARIANCE TO THE WORLD WE LIVE IN ARE EITHER IGNORED. We Africans and Ghanaians are condemning a man for taking a bold decision that many are afraid to take, yet we do not even ask that why is it that even own Chritian calender is full of names related to either greek gods or roman gods, for example Januaryand July. Most of our Christian holidays somehow coincide with or there about, permit me to say pagan days of worship typical example 25 december. We do not question these things yet we question and condemn a MAN of God, Poor Africans we are ,somebody brings us a bible which does not even consider your existence and culture as a black man from Africa and absorb whole heartedly and yet the European who came to allegedly civilize and bring people to christianity was at the same time treating human beings worse of than animals, was having church service above dungeons, was preaching about the love of God yet justified slavery and brutality against the black man as a way of salvation for the black man, took away the right to even speak your God given language, the right to marry, the right to basic human rights yet mosT of these Europeans have constitution saying all are equal and have the same basic human right and right to love ( typical example ;American constitution) and this same person brings you a Bible he has edited to suit him and you the Chritianised African choose to believe everything in it as though it came as a direct fax, email or letter from God in Heaven.Even if we are to believe the Bible 100% without any scrutiny what do we make of the verse in the Bible which literally means that if any part of your body will cause salvation let us cut it off.Anyway Ghanaians what bdo you think the context of the Bible will be if Women were the dominant force or say gender, by now we men will be always complaining as women do.FELLOW GHANAIANS LET US NOT BLIND OURSELVES BY BELIEVING EVERY THING IN THE BIBLE IS THROUGH AND THAT EVERY THING IS FROM GOD, THE EUROPEAN AND THE EARLY CHURCH WILL AFFIRM THIS BUT IT IS UNDERSTANDERBLE TRADITIONS DIE HARD

Kojo, there are few people that i trust in Ghana and you happen to be one of them. there is a very sensitive and serious corruption going on at the ACCOUNTANT GENERALS DEPARTMENT. For your information, some workers at the place are amassing wealth at the expense of the poor tax payer. What they do is they the send information to schools through their ILLEGAL AGENTS (who are also teachers) for teachers to put down their names so that they can enjoy TAX RELIEF on their income. The subsequent month you see 120 Ghana Cedis as tax relief on your pay slip. the next information you gets is that you are suppose to pay 70 Ghana Cedis out of the 120 Ghana Cedis to the connection people through the teacher agent or have your salary blocked unexpectedly or they will find their own way of unlawfully deducting it from your income. Kojo they told me but I did not believe it, I wanted to experience it myself. now it has happened. Believe me I have every information concerning the issue. Kojo trust me people are chopping Ghana money. In a school of about 30 teachers you have not less than 25 paying 70 Ghana Cedis illegally to those workers at the controller which i think it is criminal by all standards. I will be available for any further information that can assist in following the issue. thank from NEWMAN.

HI Kojo,

I will continue to use your platform to highlight equally important issues as much as morality is concern. President Kufuor and his ministers do not care about this nation. They are trying to get raid of the basis of good, which is good conscience. In as much as they can get raid of Religious and Moral Education in the basic level, it means they want all Ghanaians to think exactly as they are doing now.
Concern religious leaders, parents wake up so that we can drive out politician who do not have good policies for the future leaders of this country. Indiscipline and immorality is very high in the country and getting raid of RME would worsen the situation.

Hello Kojo.
I thank you in the first place for an opportunity like this to tell you what is bothering me. I am a professional teacher in one of the basic schools in Accra, as at the time of writing this piece (May 12th) my salary and that of others numbering 4000 for the month of April 2008 has not been paid. The reason is best known to God.
Secondly, i was upgraded from Superintendent II to Principal Superintendent, am therefore entitled to 18 months arrears (September 2006 to March 2008)being the difference between my old and new salary, but the indications are that am not going to get that money, simply because from the begining of this year (2008)most of my friends who have applied for upgrading NEVER i mean NEVER got their salary arrears. They are put on the new scale/grade alright with the promise that the arrears will be paid later BUT they NEVER I mean get those arrears.
What am suspecting is that, when the teachers submitted their input for grade and salary adjustment, well, it is seen as a legitimate demand and so approval is given and the cheque issued, but after the cheque is issued the pay voucher is quickly adjusted so that teachers end up not seeing these arrears.
The sad aspect of the whole thing is that for not knowing where to go and for fear of being victimised most teachers decide to keep quite. Kojo. am a victim, am going to loose 18 months arrears (that is about Ghc 1,200.00 +). Kojo, where do i take my case to? Who will fight for me in this case? I want to make a case to the effect that there is a network between G.E.S IPPD and CONTROLLER AND ACCOUNTANT-GENERAL DEPARTMENT who see to it that teachers don’t get what is due them in terms of salary arrears, but where do i go?
Kojo, am very very SAD because my toils of puntuality and hard work for the past 18 months is going down the drain. I therefore want YOU to use your GOOD Radio platform to raise this issue for me and find out for me why teachers for this year are not getting their salary arrears.

Kojo in as much as we dont have a waste management policy, i believe this whole menace is beyond policy. If the policies are reached and nothing is done to implement and enforce, then we come back to nothing.
As a people what and how are we also doing to help ourselves in our little corners. Its as if everyone of us has lost focus of clealiness.
We are living in filth right from our bedrooms to our gates and to wherever we find ourselves. If we cannot even train our children the right way of disposing petty candy wraps what do we expect to become of us.
This is not to say the state has no responsibility. I think the authorities are also not doing their part. if we do not have even a LANDFILL SITE site with the appropriate technology to decompost the huge tonnes of gabbage dumped there everyday, kojo in the very near future, im sorry but it will be awful for us all.

Asamoah Boateng is absolutely correct! The NPP has a superior record when compared to the NDC. Several international bodies collect data on Ghana and, when one compares the data from the NDC time to the current NPP era it is not even close! The NPP has performed much better! It will be a travesty if the NPP loses! There is no country in the world that the NPP will lose an election with their record! It was indeed pathetic listening to the ramblings of the Hon. Minister of ormation on your programme this morning. One wonders what the rationale of the President was, replacing the suave and knowledgeable Oboshie Sai-Cofie with Asamoah Boateng in such a sensitive position. Some of the half-truths and complete untruths he uttered could be excused as absolute ignorance, but such utterances are inexcusable on public radio. Don’t you sense some cynical ulterior motive in his appointment. At best, he sounded arrogant, uninformed and completely unconvincing. At worst he reminded all discerning listeners of Comical Ali, that legendary Iraqi Information Minister, who insisted that the Iraqis were crushing the Americans, even as Baghdad was falling. That is how Asabee sounded, considering that it is so obvious that the NPP government have lost the plot. Yes indeed, those whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad!

we are recyling some organizations toilets into liquid and they are using it in irrigating of thier lawns and this is helping them save cost of buying water to irrigate lawns especially now that water is expensive.

Hi Kojo. Two things i want u to address fo me.
one, I would be very happy if you could contact the appropriate athourities to tell residents of Madina Zongo Juction, Libya Quarters when the Big gutter that runs throuth these residential areas will be constructed. Please Kojo take time to do this for us because no other is there to do it. Don’t talk of both the Assembly Man and the MP they are insensitive to the plight of the people. They have the audacity to ask same people to vote for them. Kojo can u blame them?. If four good years as MP you could not Construct a gutter to prevent floods and diesaes Outbreak what Moral justification has this man to seek new mandate. Don’t blame him because his classmate are going to parliament some he thinks he is better than so why not him?
Second issue,
Kojo please Ask Legon ECG office when will they will upgrade the electricity in this same place. The voltage is verry low. It is not good to power Energy Saving bulbs. Not to mention the uncountable Electrical appliances that people lost to the Disco Off Off Off Off o On Off Off. At times u wish one can do without them. You as MP has been given collective power of the constituncy so use this power judiciously to develop the people and area. Remember you are only a custodian of the their power and subject to renewal. let me use this opportunity to inform you to sit up and fight to construct the gutter and upgrade the electricity to reduce the suffering of the peole in your constituency. That is not to limit your freedom of expression but in terms of periority the development of the area and reducing the needless suffering our people should come first to ones personal views on topcal issues. If you fail to do these we ask of you we would advice ourselves.

It beats my mind the train of thought of the Engineers or Contractors who fitted/fixed the new traffic lights along the stretch of road between Tetteh Quarshie to Ridge. It is very VERY VERY annoying to sit in traffic for hours sometimes only to see that the cause is SEVERAL defective lights. The lights change almost literally after seconds!! Everyday, regrettably(not really), I ply the road hoping that the lights would have been mowed down, knocked off their stands or stolen :-). What do we have to do before SOMETHING—-ANYTHING—is done about this

Kojo, please kindly appeal to Ghana Electricity Company to restore full power to us leaving at Dome Pillar 2. There is low voltage at some part of the area since Sunday. Our appliances have been damaged.Worst of all,all the food my wife had prepared is going stale. Please save us .
Hi Kojo,good morning
I just find it interesting wht the president narrated the whole of yesterday. From my own personal point of view is just a matter of 6 months .If he lives gov’t ,they will be bringing us back to this state if the should win power.
See how they’re hungry for power to the point that one is ever ready to do anthing to win it.To go all the way to trying to poison your colleague ?…….hmm..
This tells me that if their party to retain power ,they will go all the way to torture us in this country without having compassion .
I’m scared already.

FIRST AGOGOMANIA PROJECT-2008
All too soon, the Ghana 2008 fiesta has come and gone.
Through out the whole organization in which Ghana emerged 3rd with bronze may be described as the best in modern history of the tournament
The participation of great players from the continent has impacted a great significant amount of value to the tournament.
In the Black Star team, men like Sulley ,Muntare ,Abeyie ,Agogo,John Mensah , Essien etc are undoubtedly household names which could be used and managed well to a great advantage to the people of this country and beyond.
Junior Agogo may not be the best in the whole tournament but the most popular and most appealing to both young and old, male and female, boys and girls.
It is therefore imperative to seize this opportunity to organize the first Agogo rally dubbed AGOGOMANIA OR AGOGOPHOBIA.
This annual event will be a non religious, non political or non racial that will create a platform for resource persons from various organizations like Narcotic Control Board, National Aids Commission, National Road Safety Commission and many others whose activities and policies will impact positively in the peoples lifestyles especially the youth.
The program will see a million or more people in one weekend in September marching from a designated spot to independence square or the Ohene .Djan. Stadium amid singing, drumming and merry making where they will be addressed.
The Essienic kangaroo dance shall be formally introduced and exported to Africa ,Europe and other countries.
It will be humorous to watch personalities like King Ayisoba, and other known ones from the entertainment fraternity doing the kangaroo dance.
This march will be led by Agogo and most of his team-mates which will create fun, unity and peaceful co existence among the citizenry and our West Africa brothers both in Ghana or Elsewhere.
It is my hope that this laudable idea would receive many willing sponsors for its organization and to make it a real success.
Your suggestions and contributions to this project will be highly appreciated
A great event is born. Let’s keep the flame of passion burning for a maximum benefit to the tourism development of the country.
Yours Sincerely
ANTHONY ZANU

Hi,
I am really disheartened when I listen to some of the politicians who have turned themselves to journalists on air. I bet these people dont have Ghana at heart but their own selfish interests. They are pushing the nation to the point where people cannot bear it anymore. Let them know that the can fool some of the people all the time but cannot fool all the people all the time.
I have always said that President Kufuor has lost the opportunity to be Ghana’s greatest learder after Kwame Nkrumah by letting his guard lose for selfish and opportunistic people to take over the affiars of this country. Wake up Ghanaians and lets tell these people right in the face that enough is enough.

Kojo,
Do you know that it cost very little to computerise our court systems.
Its very possible to eliminate this system of writing with a pen on paper by our judges. this system wastes very valuable time.
all you need is a computer, a microphone and a software such as soundforge to record all the proceedings that go on in court.
i once had the opportunity to go to a circuit court in tema and u can just imagine how long it took to achieve so little. reason being that, u make a sentence and u wait for about a minute so the judge can write before u contenue to make another one.
i’m into IT have several good ideas on how to apply a lot of technology to many of our day to day activities to make life very easy and simple for everybody.
why don’t our leaders think and apply these things.
we are way behind.

CBO, Atlanta, Georgia
Kojo,
Tell Awuni that except to keep jhis job, hw knows very well that most of the things he is saying are just to spin and go back to his bosses for a pat.

This is simple…until the price deferential is eliminated this will continue. In any case farmers have conscience and know what is good. Let’s learn to respect!

Thank You.

Hi Kojo,
Two quick points on the “Executive Jets” for the GAF:

I really just wanted to use this opportunity to congratulate Joy fm for again chalking another success in organizing 2008 Easter Soup Kitchen. God richly bless Multi media for “always having in mind” the needy in society.
Besides, Mrs. Betty Mould-Iddrisu of the Commonwealth Secretariat on that day gave a short but splendid speech, (an advice to parents, leaders and human right organizations to endevor to work in the interest of children). Surprisingly, the Joy News team that you can always count on, appeared to have missed this news. I don’t know what really went wrong though, well it is not too late.
Frankly I would have done a story on her call myself but was so much involved in directing traffic at the gate while listening to her

We can also call for a National dialogue as we did for the oil to ascertain best practices and redeem the sinking image of the media.

Please I want to plead with the programmes manager of Joyfm not to use the new programme `Ghana decides 2008` as the usual talkshop, assembling the spokespersons of parties in the studio but instead take us to the communities for us to assess who is up and down.
I believe with your numerous correspondents all over the place we can get the background of the various campaigns.Any politician invited into the studio will tell you his/her party is winning but please let`s hear from the voters in the communities themselves.
Remember to do this before a hungry radio station steal this inovation from you and do it way.

I am disappointed at the comments made by Nana Konadu. She can’t force the Prof. to choose Betty. Betty is not popular. i have never seen her before . How can You vote for somebody you don’t know. Our democracy is still young and any political party that chooses a woman to be a running mate to its presidential candidate will lose .

Once in my lifetime I do agree with gaby. NPP is loosing it, the Minister is should be fired. The Minister has even insulted Ghanaians for sitting down for few refugees to come and sabotage our country.
Thank you!

Hi Kojo,
Please ask the Police PRO whether the NPP guys sought permission to block the road when they knew very well of the presence of the opposing party in the area.
He should know that there is a lot of tension in the system and to avoid confrontations of such nature in the future, the best to do is for the parties, particualrly, the incumbent, tp desist from abusing power to provoke others.
The PRO is ismply goofing and that is the nature of our police. They protect their jobs by always being bias towards the opposition and this did not start today Kojo.

Hi Kojo, this year round i am pleading with NUGS and all students to seek from our politicians things that affect their welfare and not the usual attacks on the opposition parties.
Good morning,
I am a resident at Banana-Inn, a suburb of Accra. Banana-Inn is between Mamprobi and Dansoman. Kojo as a matter of fact, we are suffering. Armed robbers and phone snatchers are killing us. You cannot move abt between 9.00 p.m and 5.00 a.m.
We all tax payers, so the govt shd come to our aid too.
thanks
Hi Kojo,
I see a radical approach here towards the cape vars saga, For christ sake! we are dealing with human beings and not equipments!
It is logical to say that, if the school authourities fail to handle this issue in a holistic manner, the end result will not only affect individual performance but that of the school as well.

May i know whether the constitution governing the university of cape coast allows the school authourities to close down a whole hall when there is riot? what happens to individual performance and that of the school ?.

MAY GOD SAVE GHANA
Thank you.
hi Kojo,
Thanks a million for making us hear our to be Veep this morning. Hon. Mahama is the best man to assist Atta Mills to enback on his rescue mission. We people of Ghana are tired and have fallen out of favour with the NPP.
Good morning,
Daniel

Kojo,
i want you to discuss the issue of the communications tax.

Kodjo , am comfused about this inflation talk..
HI KOJO,
PLEASE CALL BACK THE NPP NANA OHENE NTOW AND ASK HIM IF HE IS ALSO GOING TO ADMIT THAT HE GOOFED IN DEFENDING THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION ABOUT THE BLOATED VOTERS REGISTER. SHAME !!! NOW THAT THE EC HAVE ADMITTED THE ERORR. WE LIVE TO SEE THE FUTURE OF NPP. DECEMBER WILL SURELY COME!
Kojo,
I am a regular listener to JoyFM and there is one interesting program missing, that is the Sunday Edition of News Nite that immediately comes after Sunday 6 O’clock short news running up to 7 O’clock. It is very educative and would appreciate if you can work on it with management to bring back that program. It gives us the opportunity to listen to those we have missed and those we would like to listen to again. Keep up the good work and Ghana is proud of you and thank to joy for giving you the opportunity to serve your nation.
Thanks,
Billy

dear kojo,
i would like to complain about the neglection of art students by the school authorities of knust.
the college of art has not seen any development since its establishment by the first president of Ghana Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah. Can you believe we still live and learn in the same old and delapidated structures.
i think it is high time our authorities realise that art and artists are great contributors to the economic welfare of this country.
thank you.
hi kojo,
the only way we as a nation can develop is by changing governments every 8 years. look, political parties are not football clubs whereby if the club is not performing u still stand by it . the npp government has done quite well but i think we need a new team to lead us. in 2000 and 2004 i voted for the npp but this year i will vote for the party that can form a government within the shortest possible time. i vote on issues because am a float.
please check what is happenng at data link university college.
hi kojo
In one of your morning shows, you made mention of students from the universities and i other institutions will like to travel outside the country for greener pastures,I listerned to the comments made by your studio guests as well as your listerners.
Kojo, there is something going on in the employment circles, apart from employer asking for sex from our sisters, most of the recuitement agencies are also cheating our youth.
The recruitement agencies will take your cv and sometime Gh10 cedis and you do not know when they call you for employment and even if they call you, whatever you earn at the end of month is shared between the worker 50%and the agencies.50%
The youth can not live on the 50% so it butter to travel by all means to europe or America to work less recognised work
WHEN WILL WE CHANGE OUR ATTITUDE TOWARD PUBLIC WORK. ? IT IS SAD TO KNOW THAT SOME DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIONS IN UPPER EAST GO FOR BREAK AT 11;00 AM AND NEVER RETURNS BACK SPECIFICALLY BAWKU WEST DISTRICT
The recent results from 2008 election polls is telling me that there are still about 1800 Ghanaians who dont know what corruption and massive looting are. look, when the NPP is voted, I will get a visa for my mama and I and we’ll run away from the country.
Hon. john mahama is a good candidate for prof. mills, but i think nana akuffo-addo has what it takes to lead this nation come jan. 2009.
KOJO, I REALLY DO NOT THINK YOUR SITE POLL COULD GIVE YOU ANY MEANINGFUL RESULT OR OUT COME. JUST BCOS , ITS POSSIBLE FOR ONE PERSON TO VOTE AS MUCH AS HE OR SHE WANTS. I HV TRIED IT AND IT PROVE TO BE SO. I PERSONALLY VOTED 7 TIMES. SO CHECK IT.
With an inspirational, focused and visionary leader like Nana Addo Dankwah i believe the NPP will the occupant of the Flagstaff Presidential palace come January 7,2009.
My plead with Government now is to try and put measures in place to guard the nation against the threat of increasing food prices. Our agricultural policies must be looked at again.
kojo,
i congratulate the NDC for choosing a fine man such as John Mahama but i think this years election is not going tobe based on personalities but rather issues if not which proff Mills’ health will be drawn into the isssue.
the records are clear 8 years of NDC and 8 years of NPP.the differnce is clear if we have gone at this rate Ghhana would have been in the middle income country by now .
so ghanains vote wisely and let theNPPadminstation continue the good work they doing.
Hi Kojo,
I am staunch listener of SMS on Joy FM. let me draw your attention to our movie industry where by nigerian movie is taking over the ghanaian industry, my worry is cos nigerian producers and directors are coming into the industry of ours their customs and traditions are been depicted in our movies, espesially their dressing and i think in the near future our way of life will ellude our children.
Movie exhibits the life of a country. and if this pattern continues the totality of the industry would depend on the nigerians so lets do something about it. thank you.
speaking from kumasi, edwenase.
The real voters are those from the country side but not educated few in the cities who
have access to computers and can express their ideas through this forum so whether nana will win the december election or not will be determine soon
we heard that the current government investment in the water sector is unprecedented but when there was not much investment in the sector previously our
taps runs at least 4 times in a week but now that a lot of resources ploughed in the sector, even onces a week is difficult. what is happening
hi Kojo, i think the issue of Nana Akuffo Addo bcoming the next president 4 this country is just a rumore bcos we need a change i mean a total change 4 our mother land Ghana so i think Prof. John Evans Attah Mills carries the victory . thnkz
helo Kojo, am actually concern about the street lights in Kofoidua. Infact there hve done the right thing by fixing them nicely by the road sides but plz i want 2 ask wherether they are there 4 beautification or are ther 2 b used. Moreover when night falls u will see many of the srteet lights off whiles a few on, so plz asking wherether street lights build this days are used 4 just beautification or 4 usage? thnz
Hi Kojo,
I am a Ghanaian and I live in Manchester with my family. Thanks for the good work you and your outfit is doing but, I think your online poll has many limitations and would not be free and fair. As much as people can cast vote more than once, I don’t think it helps in any way to tell which candidate is more preferred by the electorate.
kojo,
my name is owuraku and i live in new york u.s.a. i want u to wish my mother mrs. Grace manu who is the principal of the pentecost vocational school, all the best. Mama u are really the best mother on earth. i thank God that i can boast of u as a woman that millions of women look up to.
i want to assure you that at God own time, his plans for you will come to pass.
keep hope alive.
I should think i’m right to say that Ghana is a capitalist state. We pay so much for cell phone service yet we don’t recieve value for our money. The onetouch network here in Hohoe in the Volta region, is a flashing circuit; it comes on and goes off like nobodies business. I think Onetouch (Ghana Telecom) should sit up because many of us are ready to swwitch to a better network.
“those who have eyes, let them read”
hi kojo
my worry is the way we Ghanaians behave when the wrong things are being done.
Please let us Ghanaians not apportion blames on the Department of Town and Country Planning when we knowingly built on lands that are suitable for the purpose and go further on to beg for mercy when houses are to be pulled down.
Digging tunnels to carry water away will not solve the problem comprehensively.
i think n.p.p have bite more they chew shame to n.pp the will go back to the bush 2009. mahama
hi kojo just want to second the man from mancester city. for instance I know voting is done once normally, but i think in this situation people like me can vote or have asses to the net can vote more than once. this is because i voted last week and have done the same today. could it be that you or Joy fm is have a blotted register or your team including Ato could not organise a clean registeration of your members. am just being inquisitve. have a nice day bro.
God save our home land Ghana.
i think its time the NDC founder and wife shuttup and let the prof do his own work than what they are doing. NDC will win the election hands down but needs the support not the opposition of the Rawlingses
Good morning Kojo,
I would like to know from the HFC Bank GM whether a Ghanaian studying outside Ghana to be specific, in UK can also benefit from this loan?
Thanks.
Hi Kojo, John Mahama brings a lot to the NDC ticket, but not enough to defeat The NANA, because i think it is two Johns that make up one Nana. Have a Good day man
Kojo, I will like to comment on the street lights that were hurriedly installed but have never been lighted.
Thank you and have a good day.
i think u guys all doing a great job and needed commendation. kudos and keep it up.
kojo your roadshow should go everywhere in the country.we kumasi people are waiting for you.
Kojo, I want to know if this prepaid meters are to be fixed by force?. If so who gave the orders for that. Does the Government know about it and the problems it will pose for single meter with multi users.
Can you believe that a headteacher at Awodome JHS 1 slapped my sister becase she had no money for offering. I think the cicuit supervisors should check some of these things, some headteachers are gradually becoming ‘blow-men’ in our schools.I wished you investigated that.
Please teach me how to take part in the site vote
May I know whether Alan Cash will decide for all the voters in december? if not he should be careful, the simple question I ask myself is between Alan and Nana, who stands acused in the eyes of NDC. Just come back to ensure victory for NPP to avoid causing financial lost to the state.
The resignation of Alan kyeremanteng is a blow to the NPP. It may lead to the splitting of the party.By the way what was his role in his new portfolio: chairman of the committee on identifiable groups.Who are the these groups?
Is Allan’s resignation sign of the times ?
I listened to Hackman Owusu Agyeman react to Allan’s resignation on JoyFm this morning and its sad he made reference to ” the so called Allan’s supporters”. Well, Hackman himself contested the NPP presidential primaries and Allan proved to be the most popular man in the party and those who did the voting at NPP congress were not any ordinary people but NPP leaders from the whole of Ghana and the diaspora. Watch it, Allan is a shaker in the party and that must be understood. Anyway Allan is welcome to CPP.
Hi Kojo ,
Kojo pls. let the NPP know that, there floating voters in this country are watching carefully at proceedings in our country.
Let them also know that, we the floating voters are looking for a leader who will do the right thing not because of political beliefs.
Look at the people on the road selling, should a big tack run into this people and kill at list two hundred I hope the AMA, NPP and all groups that should ensure that roads are cleared will be very happy.
Kojo you are doing a work for Ghana keep it up. I Thank God for people like Ato when he talks we think is funny but take 2nd look at what he say. Thanks.
Hi Kojo,
Alan is only on of the so called loyalist of the Busia Danquah Tradition. His exit is not only timely but also attests to the fact that many supposedly party faithfuls are not genuinely spirited in the name of our great party. Ghanaians will now realise how party footsoldiers feel when they are side lined and not recognised after toiling tirelessly for the party. We have time and again said the NPP has not fulfiled it’s social contract with the youth but has only selecively handpicked a few favourates to reward. Mr Alan, welcome on board the group of peeved NPP supporters.
Kojo pls. let the NPP know that, there floating voters in this country are watching carefully at proceedings in our country.
Let them also know that, we the floating voters are looking for a leader who will do the right thing not because of political benefits.
Thanks.
The timing of Allans resignation is a big blow to the NPP.The signs were clear on the wall.Nana Addo and co will have a though time in this years election if Allan joins another party
Don’t you think his excellency JAK is behind Alan’s exit from the NPP?
Mind you Alan listens to JAK.I only pitty NPP I think the GOD of our forefathers JAH is ready to punish selfish politician, their cohorts and their party at large.I feel sad to realise that the purported saviour of mother Ghana (NPP) disappointed us(floating campainers and voters)
why do i have the feelings that the problems that bedeviled the ndc prior to the 2000 elections are the same problems if not worse bedeviling the npp? if care is not taken the obvious result will be absolute defeat for the ruling party. already the goodwill the npp enjoyed prior to 2ooo and 2004 elections is no more. well all this will enure to the befit of the ndc. go j&j go.
If Nana as the Leader can not hold the executive, rank and file of his group (NPP) how can he do that for the whole nation in its current state. NPP is in trouble here and we the floating voters are confuse now.
i hope the gov’t introduce ghana hospitals award to award some hospitals for their good work and condemn those with poor customer service like the police hospital.shame unto the the the nurses. shame. s h a m e, shame
When are we going to have a decentralized system so that our concerns with be dealt with promptly?
long live Ghana and may the wind of positive change blow
hi kojo,
when exactly are we going to experience the benefits of our countries oil. i believe it is time the people of this country begin to ask questions and demand answers.
about the ECG, i think we do not have to pay for their incompentencies by getting our gadgets destroyed. power outages are not well communicated and we keep on paying bills for efficiency.
i do believe you are a CASFORDIAN. just let them know the the “SUPAPOWERS” will not go extinct and we will always be the supapowers.
Hi Kojo,
you guys are doing a great job.we those at Tamale are alway updated each time we listen to your news items. It is not biased like GBC, the facts are always presented even for the blind man to notice.
Thanks a lot JOY FM.
Go Go High.Alan go high untill u touch the sky.u see how they used u as a baite to catch their fish,Go Go Go high no turning back.be original
Sorry for Hackman and The so called NPP fanatics. I decided not to speak about the comments he made about Allan’s resignation from the NPP.HAckman is a bluff just like their so called presidential aspirant who won’t even get close to 37 let alone the flagstaff house. I want all Ghanaians to open their ears and listen to the Mafias in the NPP. From now, am no longer an NPP supporter and I wish Allan never goes back to the Party because they will treat him as a begger. Allan stand firm on your decision and don’t let anybody convince you. You have a bold step so keep to it and stay out of danger.
To hackman, if he thinks Allan’s exit won’t cause the NPP, he can remain in the fool’s paradise because he knows if he quits the Party today, it will just end at their secretariat, nobody will hear about him, cos he is nobody.
Allan, you are the best, followed by Osafo Marfo and Dan Botwe.
hi kojo, let the n.p.p gov’t know dat it is God who will give us king in 2009. no matter wat they do. pls, where is mr elloy amande?
(3rd gate) please advise where do I throw my gabbashes and it would removed
by who ever is concern (AMA, Kofour or somebody).
Youare doing fine job Kojo.
Suberu Salam (Stockholm Sweden).
when people are put in positions of trust they rather end up enrichining themselves and their families.I am very worried at what is happening at the school feeding programme.Cant we we things right for once as ghanaians. The progrmme must cleaned up to remove the rot.
Hi Kojo,
Is kwabena Agyepong on the program to talk about the downfalls of the NDC, what about their projections for the Nation? I am disappointed in him. He should leave politics and go back to the commentary box. Tsikata all the way
Hi Kojo,
Shame to Kwabena Agyepong and the NPP. Liars .NDC all the way.
kojo, you guys are doing a great job at joy. keep it up yeah God is watching and He sure would reward y’all.
I want us to look at the economic partnership agreements the EU wants to sign with ACP countries.
Our economies would collapse if we ever sign on to it. ARICAN LEADERS lets think about the tomorrows of our continent
A word to the wise is in THE NORTH
God bless
Hi Kojo,
Tell Ghanaian to leave Ato Dadzie alone, after all Ato is a free citizen of the Republic of Ghana so Ato has every wright to speak and to blame when things go wrong. Ghanaians should ask the CEO of AMA that what did he do with the money that was given to him to clean Accra. Kojo tell to open his eyes and mouth wide .
Good morning.
You may read this piece on the great Super Morning Show
pls talk about the street lights at the motorway again. think its time someone is held responsible for that shoddy job done. those lights should be replaced with solar lights.
I think its high time someone is held responsible for the traffic lights on the Tema motorway. Instead, the lights are being fixed in the direction of Accra from the first toll booth. the motorway is till dark and dangerous. Why have the police also stopped patrolling ?. I wonder why I am even surprised knowing that their specialty is in 9-day wonders. Something better be done and now because if there is power running through the cables which have been laid for God knows how long, in no way will a thief risk stealing.
please can you kindly bring back the presidential poll
hi kojo
well my problems is with some banks in the country…you know, i had wanted to open an account at barclays and i was told i should go and look for a quarantor to quarantee my new account.so my question is, is it normal and if it is, are we heading somewhere as a country??
NPP thinks Ghanaians are blind to vote for then.
Could you imagin an NPP man saying in a fight, do you know my political status? i am an NPP man.
I tought we Ghanaians are all one people.
NPP is always not telling the truth.
Come elections, I am begging every body to VOTE NDC to power.
NPP to the bush NDC to the Presidential Mansion
Kojo
please find out from all presidential candidates their policy on promoting security in Ghana. Arm robbers are attacking on hourly basis now. You may not feel it until you become a victim. It comes with anxiety and fear you may not be able to forget. That is if you manage to survive it. Most of them are young men between the ages of 18 and 25. Please make this an issue and push it for us. You owe it to Ghanaians to do this.
WE ARE TRULLY SUFFERING—SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE FALLEN, RAPED, ROBED IN THE HANDS OF THESE SOCIAL DEVIANTS. AND WE ALL STAND THE RISK OF LOSING OUR LIVES OR THOSE OF LOVE ONES IF WE DO NOT ACT NOW.
KOJO, DO YOUR PART BY MAKING THIS AN ISSUE NOT ONLY TODAY BUT CONTINOUSLY UNTIL WE HAVE SOME RESPITE.
Thank you.
I want to know why our International Airport has no seat for our own people to sit on when they come to the airport.
Modernisation of Ghana’s Economy? What’s Dr. Arthur Kennedy talking about? After establishing a whole Ministry to modernise just the Capital City, what are talking about now, is it not about the filt engulfing Accra? and they’re talking about track records? Thank God for discerning Ghanaians, we won’t make the same mistake thrice!
HI Kojo,
Thanks for reading my message.
Have a great week, Kojo.
good morning kojo,
i am very much displeases with the spring up of private medical labs in Ghana at the moment. anyone nowadays picks up a 1414 microscope and begins to operate a lab. kojo, here in kumasi, there are labs in small wooden kiosks and sited very close to fast food joints. the question that comes to mind is; where does the waste blood products and chemicals from these labs pass? moreso people who buy food from these fast food joints stands the risk of contracting so many air-borne diseases. it’s a sad that there is no regulating body of medical lab practice in ghana. kojo, do you care to follow up? God bless ghana.
Thanks.
I HONESTLY THINK PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BLAME THE GOVERNMENT FOR FILTH IN THE CAPITAL CITY. ITS THE SAME PEOPLE WHO LITTER THE STREETS AND THEY ALSO IN TURN BLAME THE GOVERNMENT FOR NO JOBS. THAT IS RIDCULOUS BECAUSE PICKING UP LITTERS IN THE STREETS AND KEEPING THE CITY TIDY IS A SOUND ENOUGH WHICH CAN SHOULD BE PAID GOOD TO THOSE WHO ARE RECRUITED TO CLEAN THE PLACE UP. THE PEOPLE IN THE CITY SHOULD ALSO CHANGE THEIR ATTITUDE ABOUT LOITERING THE CITY.
THANKS..
As for liquid waste i do not even want to go there. By the way let me ask what became of the SANITATION COMPONENTS OF THE ‘URBAN 1, 11, 111, 1V PROJECTS?

Kojo Its so pathetic what i witnessed at the University of Ghana hospital the NHIS holders are being turned away just imagine how this old women who has no money to pay for the bills has to go home, you can easily tell that the scheme is owing the hospital, pls If the govt cannot continue the programme they should better tell Ghanaians and stop throwing dust into our eyes.
Kojo good morning, i have send a lot of mails to you and never get read on the show not to talk about txt messages. Well to the main issues that i have. Kojo i live in Adentan and i will like to bring to the notice of the state of the main road. Kojo from Ritz junction to the Adentan barrier the road is ver very hurrible there are parts of the road that is cut off like the section from NIB and the Barclays Bank building to the SDA junction Kojo you need to see this. Kojo @ the SDA junction there is a school called TOT TO TEEN there is a pool of rain water under their wall.
Kojo now on the accra end of the motor way just at new Barclays bank the way drivers are make U turns on the motorway hummm this is a time boom!! Kojo i hope joy can send one report there and you will see the report he or she will bring back to you
tell Asamoah Boateng that if they are also giving 19 years, is he telling as that they can solve all the problems facing the country. He should give as a break and stop throwing dust into our eyes
Things are not perfect but, the country is moving in the right direction and, they deserve to continue.
tell Ndoum to keep us together by been careful about his new campaig team he is about to form. Student like us here in knust all support him and wish him well in the election. We will like to relly behind him to mobilize the youth in the campaign.
We see the works to the two parties in gorvenment and think the only change possible now is to vote the cpp into power
Hi Kojo, do you remember the programme you did in Sept 07 about good customer service? I remember your good station promised to lead this crusade.
However there is a major issue I have with Joy FM.
Those of us abroad listening to you online cannot undestand how long it takes your webmaster to update the audio on demand files. Due to time difference most of us miss your show and depend on the audio on demand facility.
I am not happy at all today because “The morning show for 15/05/08″ has not been uploaded as at 19.58 GMT. As for the Ghana Decides I do not know what to say. You have set a good standard and you can only maintain it by working harder. My name is Saka, Nii Saka that is.
Kojo ask the government how they are dealing with liquid waste. We have a system that turns toilet into liquid and can be disposed off everywhere because it is environmental friendly.
we are recyling some organizations toilets into liquid and they are using it in irrigating of thier lawns and this is helping them save cost of buying water to irrigate lawns especially now that water is expensive.
It is also used in KVIP’s and all forms of toilets.
But the truth is that they are a monopolist terrorising innocent residents.
hi kojo i would like you to remind those incharge of all trafic in takoradi to repair all trafic light which are out of action since october last year.
cosmos
KOJO,
Please, I want to use your medium to appeal to Road authorities in Accra to as a matter of urgency do something about the stretch of road just before Adenta S.D.A. junction from Madina. My God, it is terrible. Serious “MANHOLES” on the road. It is now a death trap waiting to “catch” a victim especially at night. Please someone should do something about it NOW before it is too late. You can send the “FEEDBACK TEAM” to witness it for themselves.
OKUSH-KOFORIDUA
Kojo u remember my reguest on Friday 16/05/08 on Gutter and Electricity in Madina Libya Quarters?. I hope readers will do If any body wants the request is still posted on the page go read it.
Kojo the man man has done it again. Who am talking about ? The MP for my counstuency (Madina Abokobi) Hon Alhaji Mohammed Soglo. After my passionate appeal to you and your team to come to our aide in drawing the attention of the authorities to construct the huge gutter and upgrade the electricity supply to the area. The MP is besy talking and not talking but wasting the precious platform given him by the people to champion their needs and concerns. He is wasting his energy on (NPP is for sale ) Head line of ‘VOICE’ 19/05/08. That is his businesss talking about things that have little or nothing to do with his constituency.

Its very possible to eliminate this system of writing with a pen on paper by our judges. this system wastes very valuable time.
all you need is a computer, a microphone and a software such as soundforge to record all the proceedings that go on in court.
i once had the opportunity to go to a circuit court in tema and u can just imagine how long it took to achieve so little. reason being that, u make a sentence and u wait for about a minute so the judge can write before u contenue to make another one.
i’m into IT have several good ideas on how to apply a lot of technology to many of our day to day activities to make life very easy and simple for everybody.
why don’t our leaders think and apply these things.
we are way behind.
hi, kojo people in bawku central should be sent to bawku west to learnt how peaceful the two tribes co-exist I MEAN THE KUSASIS AND THE MAMPRUSIS
I really want to say Kudos to Isaac on the Apprentice Africa show. He has made Ghana proud. He is certainly a role model for the youth. I pray for him to win the reality show. I call on all Ghanaians to rem
