The Super Morning Show, is JOY fm’s flagship breakfast how. It sets the agenda for the station, the city and the nation. Behind this most action packed breakfast show in town, is a team of young committed and energetic Ghanaians who make it a daily objective to deliver to the nation a mix of fun, intellectual discourse, great music and warm interaction.
Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah : Host
Kojo Holds a first Degree in accounting (B.Comm) from the University of Cape Coast. He has a penchant for challenges and believes in the power of Positive thinking. “We often limit ourselves in our belief of what God can do with us.”
Kofi Ansah: Producer
Kofi is a graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. “Excellence is a must and perseverance my bedmate.” Kofi believes that with teamwork and humility, God can do wonders with men.
Prince Frimpong Bediako: Producer
A graduate from the University of Ghana legon, Prince is always keen to bring to bear his Political Science background on all our shows. Whenever there is an opportunity, he enjoys being out and about for live interactions with People.
Israel Laryea: News Anchor
Israel Holds a degree in Marketing from GIMPA and has over eight years of broadcasting experience at TV3 and JOYfm. He is also very proficient with gadgets and is always handy when a technical challenge arises. Israel anchors the major news bulletins on the show – 6am & 8am and also anchors the Super Morning Show anytime Kojo is away.
FRED AVORNYO: BUSINESS NEWS EDITOR
Fred holds a first degree in Spanish and Political Science from University of Ghana, a post graduate certificate in Business Administration from GIMPA, and at the tail end of his MBA at the University of Ghana Business School. “Versatility is my watchword”
ERNEST KORANTENG
Ernest hosts the Sports Center on the Super Morning Show. Ernest believes life is made up of seasons, “unfortunately when things go bad, only the mistakes are remembered; the bad, only the mistakes are remembered; the win has 1000 fathers but defeat is an orphan”
PRINCE FRIMPONG BEDIAKO
A graduate from the University of Ghana, Legon. Prince holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science background on all our shows, whenever there is an opportunity, he enjoys being out and about for live interactions with people.
Prince is very optimistic, helpful and easy- going with a heart of gold.
Dayo Akwasi Sarpong
Akwasi holds a Masters Degree in International Public Relations from Cardiff University, Wales. A career journalist with many years of practice as Presidential correspondent, producer and anchor, Dayo believes (as suggested by Duncan in Macbeth), there’s no art to find the mind’s construction in the face”. He sits in for some of JOY FM’s flagships-the Super Morning Show, the Frontpage and currently hosts Newsfile.
